I am thrilled that you are interested in the Mississippi American Legion Boys State program, Mississippi’s premiere youth leadership program. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to attend many years ago. Boys State changed my life and taught me some invaluable lessons. My Boys State experience is only one of thousands. I hear countless stories each year about how this program encouraged, strengthened, or built a fire in a young man’s life. My volunteer staff and I are honored to work for this program’s future success. If you’re an eligible young man, I encourage you to jump right in and apply today. If you are a parent, educator, or Boys State alum, I encourage you to spread the word and to send us the outstanding young men in your communities.
