Dear 2020 Accepted Boys Stater,

I hope you are not only adapting to the nuances of your senior year but vigorously rising up to its challenge. This update should share good news with you as a student, especially as college-decisions loom on the horizon.

Although you did not have the opportunity to attend our program this past summer, the University of Mississippi, Mississippi State University, and University of Southern Mississippi are recognizing their scholarships for your acceptance into our 2020 program.

Mississippi State University

• Boys State Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,000 [one-year only]
  • Eligibility: Entering freshmen or transfer students (with university specified credit hours) who participate in Boys State. Must have a scholarship GPA of 3.0.

University of Mississippi

• Boys State Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,000 [one-year only]
  • Eligibility: Entering freshmen who participate in Mississippi Boys State

University of Southern Mississippi

• Boys State Scholarship
  • Award Amount: $1,000 [one-year only]
  • Eligibility: Entering freshmen who participate in Mississippi Boys State

Additionally, our program is committed to your cohort’s success and development as future leaders of our state and nation. For the 2021 session of Boys State, we will be allowing applications from rising and graduating seniors . Our online application is live as of January 1st, 2021, and the deadline is May 8th. If you applied and were accepted this past cycle, we ask that you apply again. The application and more information can be found on our website at www.msboysstate.com when it goes live on the 1st.
